I purchased a Ecotech Vortech MP10 from BRS a couple weeks ago. It came in and unfortunately it was defective out of the box. It would boot up, cycle twice and error out and restart. They quickly sent me out a new one. When the new one came in the wet side was defective. They quickly sent me out a new wetside next day air to ensure it made it to me quickly. Got the new wet site and everything is up and running great. They took very good care of me and I am grateful to them for their quick actions and help.

It's always nice to have customer service step up to the plate to make sure your experience with their company a pleasant one.

BRS has great service and has helped me out like this a few times and only sells products they test and trust. They even adjusted a price for me once. I only buy from them and Best Fish. I've heard mixed feelings about Marine Depot so I never bought from them.

I purchase my chemicals from Marine Depot as BRS doesn't carry Kent marine. And I've never had an issue with them. Pretty quick shipping and good prices.

Good to know, I use Seachem and BRS doesn't sell that either so I get it from Amazon. Maybe I'll try MD instead of Amazon and their crappy shipping of expired products!

Doctors Foster and Smith also carries seachem and they have fantastic customer service. I bought a powerhead that died in under 2 months. They gave me the option to exchange or refund my money. Sent me a box to return it in and credited me right away.
