I hope it's cool if a new guy drops by. I'm some what new to the area and new to WRS but I've been in the hobby for many years. I'd like an opportunity to meet some local reefers. I was in MN the past few years but prior to that lived in Green Bay and was a member of the Fox Valley Reef Club. Some of the names on this forum are familiar, I might even recognize some of you once I can put faces to names.

You should start a thread in the introductions and show us some pictures if you have time.

My kenya tree made babies, 3 or 4 I think. Would be very happy to share them if anyone wants them.

Thank you Paul & Connie for hosting. Great looking tank! Good food and company. And thanks Ron for the par meter demo.

Thank you to Paul and Connie for hosting and everyone who attended.

We did find out that the North side par meter is reading 6-8% lower than both the South side meter and my personal one.
Also that the old mH light bulb I have is totally shot. :D

Thanks you Paul and Connie for hosting today. Great food and great company. Your tank looks awesome and thanks for the frag. I really love all the wonderful woodwork in your house. Can't beat an older home (mine turns 100 this year!) for character.

and changing the battery before it stops working gave us lower readings so don't do it.

According to the data sheet I have, after changing the battery some numbers went up and some went down but only by one or two.
Was more likely due to a slight difference in sensor placement than the new battery.
