The topic was brought up at yesterdays meeting about WRS members doing a harvest day at Bean Head Farm this year.
As some of you remember from last year there was a harvest at Bean Head Farm the day of the BBQ. What we are proposing would be a day separate from the BBQ.
Bean Head Farm is run by WRS member Jim Crayhan (crayhan). Items grown on the farm are then donated to local food pantry's.
Here is a video with Jim explaining what Bean Head Farm is all about: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Djl0n1kgwg

Setting up this poll to see how many members would be interested in doing a harvest day at the farm, please vote your choice.

Ron, can you elaborate a bit more about the time commitment? Are you think 8 hours? 4 hours?

Last year we spent around 2-2.5 hours harvesting but I'm sure however much time someone can help out will be appreciated by Jim.

I had a good time last year. It's easy and fun for kids too.

I'd be more than happy to help out.

Ah yeah in that case count me in. Depending on day Katie and August might attend as well.

Mark and I would love to help, assuming the date works out for us.
