Forum rules


Rules of auction are as follows:
1. All frags will need be individually bagged with the name of the coral and the donor printed on the outside of the bag.

2. The auctioneer at the time of the auction will ask the donor for a starting price.

3. All of the high bidders for the various corals will need to pay for their corals at the conclusion of the auction in cash or Paypal only.

4. Each item will be sold to the highest bidder. The auctioneer will settle any disputes as to the bids and his or her decision on such matters will be final.

5. All persons attending this auction do so at their own risk.
Neither Wisconsin Reef Society, its officers and members or any other persons connected with this sale assume any responsibility for any loss, damage or injury or assume liability, legal or otherwise in attending this sale.
It is the Bidder's responsibility to properly quarantine and dip any corals that are won in the auction.

Rules subject to change. This idea is new and with new ideas, certain aspects may be tweaked from event to event. This will be from participation feedback and new ideas from the community. This is only to help this event stay focused in a positive manner.

Please keep discussion to ONLY donations, thank you.
Also, to speed along the auction process please mark all bags with your name and the type of coral.

Proceeds from the December, January and February auctions will be used to purchase door prize items to be given away on the Bus trip.
